Where you stand when you use Laxperts

Laxperts is a project of the All Good People Network, operated by Diversify All, Inc., a California nonprofit public benefit corporation. “We,” “us,” and “Laxperts” mean Diversify All, Inc.

These terms are an agreement between you and us, and we have tried to write them so you can actually read them. Using the site means you accept them.

Anyone can look around. To hold an account you must be at least 18 and able to enter an agreement.

Laxperts is a service for parents and guardians, who book on behalf of a young athlete. Children do not get accounts here. If you book a session for a child, you are confirming that you are their parent or guardian, or that you have permission from one.

While the sample notice is on the site, no listing is a real coach. You cannot hire one, message one, or pay one, and any rating, review count, or credential shown on a sample profile is part of the illustration. If a page ever presents a sample as a real person available to book, that is a bug — tell us and we will fix it.

The pros page is an editorial section about professional lacrosse players, drawn from published rosters and public statistics. Those athletes are not Laxperts trainers, have no affiliation with Laxperts or the All Good People Network, have not endorsed us, and cannot be booked through this site. Names and statistics appear there as factual reporting about the sport.

When it opens, Laxperts is a place where a family finds a coach and the two of them arrange a session. We provide the introduction, the scheduling, and the payment rail.

The coach is an independent professional running their own business. They are not our employee, our agent, or our partner. They set their own rates and hours, and they decide how they coach. We don’t supervise a session, and we are not present at one. The training agreement is between you and the coach; ours is about using this site.

This is the part most sites overstate, so we would rather be blunt than reassuring.

We are not currently telling you that any coach has been screened, because there are no real coaches yet. The profile design has places for a background check and identity verification, and today every one of those badges belongs to a fictional sample. Before a real coach can take a real booking, this page will state exactly what is checked, by whom, and how often — and a badge will only appear on a profile where that check actually happened.

Whatever screening we run later, it is a check on records, not a guarantee about a person, and it is never a substitute for your own judgment. You know your kid. Meet the coach, watch a session, ask questions, and trust yourself over a badge. If anything about a coach concerns you, tell us at info@allgoodpeople.net. If a child is in danger, call 911 first.

Coaches set their own rates. Laxperts keeps a 10% platform fee on a booking, and the coach keeps the other 90%. Payments and coach payouts run through Stripe; your card details go to Stripe and never to us.

There is no cancellation or refund policy yet, and we are not going to invent one here. No booking has ever been made on this site, so no such policy has ever operated. The rules for cancelling, rescheduling, no-shows, and refunds will be written and published on this page before the first real booking is possible. If you are reading this and the site still says it isn’t open, none of it can affect you yet.

You own what you write. Posting it gives us a narrow permission to store and display it for the purpose of running Laxperts — nothing more — and deleting it takes that permission back.

Reviews are public by design, and only someone who actually booked a coach can leave one for them. Write about the coaching honestly, including when it was bad. Don’t post someone’s private information, and don’t write a review for a session that didn’t happen.

Messages are between you and the coach. We store them so the conversation survives, and we don’t mine them.

Don’t:

• pretend to be someone else, or hold an account for someone else;
• scrape the site, or harvest coaches’ details to market to them;
• take a booking off-platform to dodge the fee after meeting through Laxperts;
• harass anyone, or use this site to reach a child who isn’t yours;
• break the site on purpose, or try to reach data that isn’t yours.

We can suspend or close an account for any of that. You can close yours at any time, for any reason, without asking us.

Laxperts is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don’t promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every attack, and we don’t promise any given feature will still exist next month.

We don’t promise anything about the quality, safety, or conduct of any coach, and nothing here is a promise to supervise, monitor, or intervene in a session. Lacrosse is a contact sport and training carries a risk of injury that we do not control.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Diversify All, Inc. and its directors, officers, volunteers, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, arising out of your use of Laxperts — whether the claim is in contract, tort, or anything else, and even if we were told such damages were possible.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims relating to Laxperts is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100). Some states don’t allow some of these limits; where that is true these limits apply as far as that state allows and no further. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything that can’t be limited by law — including, where the law says so, claims for personal injury.

If someone brings a claim against us because of what you posted or did here, you will defend and cover us for it, to the extent it arises from your content or your breach of these terms. We’ll tell you about any such claim and let you control the defense, and we won’t settle it without asking you first.

These terms are governed by California law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we each agree to that. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead. Before either of us files anything, we each agree to spend thirty days trying to sort it out by writing to the other — that has settled more disputes than any clause we could write.

Changes. We may change these terms. If a change matters we will post the new version with a new date and say so plainly rather than bury it. Continuing to use Laxperts after that means you accept the new version; if you don’t, close your account — the old terms governed everything you did before.

Privacy. Our Privacy page is part of these terms, and it is written to the same standard: what the site really does, in words you don’t need a law degree to read.

The rest. If a court strikes part of these terms, the rest still stands. Our not enforcing something once doesn’t mean we gave it up. You can’t transfer your account to someone else.
