What we collect, and what we don't

Laxperts is a project of the All Good People Network, operated by Diversify All, Inc., a California nonprofit public benefit corporation. “We” and “us” on this page mean Laxperts.

Questions about anything here go to info@allgoodpeople.net, and a person reads them.

Browsing is anonymous. You can search, filter, open a coach’s profile, read the pros page, and look around the whole site without an account, without an email address, and without us building any record of you. There is no “sign in to continue” wall in front of the parts that matter.

Some things need to survive a refresh, so the site stores them in your own browser. These sit on your device. They are not accounts, they are not sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data erases them for good:

If you make an account later, this same information syncs to it so it follows you between devices. Until then it never leaves the browser you typed it in.

When Laxperts opens and you make an account, we hold your name, your email address, a phone number if you give us one, and a photo if you upload one. That is the whole profile.

Accounts and their data live in Supabase, our database and sign-in provider. Rules in the database (row-level security) scope your records to you, so one parent cannot read another parent’s.

This is a service parents use on behalf of a kid, so we want to be exact about it. To book a session you would tell us about the young athlete: their name or nickname, their age group, the position they play, and any notes you want the coach to have — an injury to work around, what they’re nervous about, what you want out of the hour.

Four commitments about that, plainly:

• You type it, not your child. Laxperts is for adults. Children do not get accounts here and are never asked for anything directly.
• It goes to the coach you booked, and no one else. It is attached to that booking. It is not a public profile, it does not appear in search, and other parents cannot see it.
• A nickname is fine. Nothing checks the name against anything. If you’d rather a coach see “J.” than a full name, use “J.”
• It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to train AI.

A booking holds when and how long, whether the session is at your place or the coach’s or a field, the address if you gave one, what you want worked on, and what it cost.

Sessions can also record a check-in and check-out location so a parent who isn’t standing on the sideline can see the session started and ended. That is two points at the field for the session you booked — it is not continuous tracking, it does not follow anyone around afterward, and it is off unless a session is happening.

Messages between a parent and a coach are stored so the conversation is still there tomorrow. They are visible to the two of you. We do not mine them, and they are not used to train AI.

A review you write is meant to be public — that is its whole job. It shows with your first name against the coach you booked, and only someone who actually booked that coach can leave one.

The message box has a microphone button for dictating instead of typing. That uses your browser’s own speech feature, not ours: in most browsers the audio is sent to the browser maker’s servers to be turned into text, under their privacy policy, not this one. It runs only while you hold the button, and if you never press it nothing listens. Type instead and no audio leaves your device at all.

The search box understands plain sentences — “someone who can teach my 9-year-old to catch.” When you use it, the words you typed are sent to Anthropic, which runs the model that reads them. Here is the exact shape of it:

• Your sentence is all that goes. Not your account, not your child’s details, not your bookings, not your messages.
• Your words are not used to train the model — not by us, and under our terms with Anthropic, not by them.
• All it can do is pick filters. The model chooses from a fixed list of positions, skills, and age groups. It cannot write a coach, invent a name, or make up a link. That is enforced in the code, not by asking it nicely.
• If the AI is unavailable, search falls back to ordinary keyword matching and nothing is sent anywhere.

When Laxperts opens, payments run through Stripe. You enter your card on Stripe’s own checkout — your card number never touches our servers and we never store it. We keep the fact that a booking was paid, and Stripe’s reference for it.

Coaches get paid through Stripe as well. The bank details and tax information a coach provides to be paid go to Stripe directly, and we never see them.

This is the list we hold ourselves to, and it is checkable — open the page source or the network tab and look:

• No analytics. No page-view tracking, no session recording, no heatmaps. We do not know which pages you read.
• No advertising or tracking pixels of any kind, from anyone.
• No data brokers, and nothing sold. There is no arrangement under which anyone pays us for anything about you.
• No third-party fonts or image services. Every page on this site loads from this site. A coach’s picture is a real photo they uploaded or a monogram we draw — we do not use a cartoon-avatar or stock-photo service, and the app is configured so one cannot be added by accident.
• No background location. Nothing here tracks anyone between sessions.

The local resources box builds links you can click — a map search for fields near your town, for instance. Those are ordinary links. Nothing is looked up until you click one, and clicking takes you to that site, where their rules apply, not ours.

The complete list of companies involved, and their one job each:

• Supabase — accounts, sign-in, and the database.
• Stripe — payments and coach payouts.
• Anthropic — the model behind AI search, which sees only what you typed into the search box.
• Vercel — hosts the site and serves the pages.

That is the entire list. Each one is there to do a job we asked for, none of them may use your information for their own purposes, and if it ever grows this page changes first.

The pros page is an editorial section about professional lacrosse players, built from published league rosters and public statistics. Those athletes are not Laxperts trainers, are not affiliated with us, and cannot be booked here. Nothing on that page came from a member of this site.

You can see and change your profile from your account, edit or delete an athlete’s details, and clear anything your browser is holding by clearing site data.

Write to info@allgoodpeople.net and we will tell you everything we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and its data. Wherever the law gives you a stronger right than this page describes — California and several other states do — you have it, and asking is enough.

There is no cookie banner here because there is nothing to consent to. We set no advertising or analytics cookies. When accounts are live, signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in, and that is the only one — it does what you asked it to do and nothing else.

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to the database is scoped by rules that live in the database itself, so a bug in a page cannot hand one person another person’s records. Card details never reach us. No one can promise a system is unbreakable, and we won’t — what we will promise is that if something goes wrong we tell the people affected plainly and quickly, rather than hoping nobody notices.

Laxperts is for adults. Accounts are for parents, guardians, and coaches over 18, and we do not knowingly collect anything directly from a child. What we hold about a young athlete is what their parent chose to type in order to book them a lesson. If you believe a child created an account or sent us information directly, write to info@allgoodpeople.net and we will delete it.

This page is written to be checked, not just published — if a claim here stops matching the code, that is a bug in the page. When it changes, the date at the top changes with it, and if a change actually matters we will say so on the site rather than bury it.
